I approve this crossover, somebody make this a comic right now, I want to see Kirk and crew digitized in the the 23rd Century Grid.

Enterprise No Longer Bound To The Small Screen
For the life of me, I can not find out who the artist is who did this piece. I don’t like to post artwork without a link to the artists website and or some sort of bio page. But, nonetheless, this is an awesome image.
It was an unused cover to a special double issue of Cinefantastique Magazine. The issue would have featured all things Star Trek. The issue was supposed to explore Star Trek Phase II, which was a new series being developed that would have featured most of the original cast as well as new crew members (a lot of Phase II was used in the creation of Star Trek: The Motion Picture as well as the development of The Next Generation). The issue would also discuss the cancellation of two other Star Trek films as well and would feature lots of new information regarding The Motion Picture.
Unfortunately, the issue never came out and this artwork was never used. Eventually the artist put the original artwork up for sale and Daren Dochterman, a Visual FX artist and collector of all things Trek, purchased it and made it available for the whole world to see.
